CAODS 100 Plus Club

The caods 100 Plus Club was started in the early seventies to help raise funds to support extra expenses which are incurred in any of our productions. This enables the Treasurer to give an accurate account of the expenses for any production and the 100 Plus Club would pay for extra items. An example of this was the new parasols for Hello Dolly, which are now kept in our wardrobe department for future use.

Support is also given to helping keep costs down for workshops, and other expenses that might arise throughout the year, such as a new notice board. All money paid out is subject to approval from the management committee of the 100 Plus Club.

The money for these items is raised by any member of the society or their family having a number and that number is put into a monthly draw. They can have any amount of numbers, each costing £12 per year (£1 per month). The first prize is for £25, the second is for £10 and the third is £5. At the AGM of the society which is held on the second Tuesday in December, the Christmas draw takes place for a first prize of £75.

All members are urged to join for it helps the Society in its many activities.
