  Ray Jeffery - Director

Ray has been directing CAODS shows for over twenty five years. His style and attention to detail is renowned throughout the UK amongst the amateur theatre world, and CAODS productions always reflect Ray's great talent.
  Patrick Tucker - Musical Director

Patrick has been a leading light of the society for many years and a past Chairman. Guildhall School of Music trained, Patrick now coaches principals and chorus in the vocal challenges presented by the musicals we perform and is responsible for masterminding the acclaimed concert series presented by CAODS (Bowlful of Rice / Magnificent 7/ Great Escape / Thank You for the music / One Singular Sensation).

  Jeremy Tustin - Director

A 'graduate' of CAODS, Jeremy studied at the Mountview Theatre School in London 3 years. He has made a significant name for himself in directing amateur societies around the country, receiving excellent reviews for his work.
 

Sallie Warrington - Director

Sallie was trained at the London Studio Centre. From there she had a successful career as a Professional Dancer working extensively in Theatre, both here in the UK and abroad.
She retired graciously from performing some years ago but continues to pass on her knowledge teaching Jazz and Musical Theatre in many of the Performing Arts Colleges in and around the South East.

Sallie has now been Directing and Choreographing on the Amateur circuit for ten years. Theatre credits include THE HOT MIKADO, MY FAIR LADY, FOLLIES, BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE, ME & MY GIRL, OKLAHOMA, 42ND ST, HALF A SIXPENCE, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, THE MERRY WIDOW, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, ANYTHING GOES, MACK AND MABEL, CABARET, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, COPACABANA, COMPANY, GUYS AND DOLLS, SUMMER HOLIDAY, SINGIN IN THE RAIN, WEST SIDE STORY and more recently, the highly acclaimed WITCHES OF EASTWICK which has just won Sallie's 5th NODA award.

Salie also choreographs two Professional pantomimes for Bruce James Productions.

 

  Andrew Denyer - Musical Director

Andrew's orchestras never fail to impress. From the classical subtlety of 'Carmen' through to the true Broadway style of '42nd St' and 'Music Man' the calibre of musician and MD raises the society's performance standards up even further.
   

Stuart Woolner - Musical Director

"Stuart is delighted to be working with CAODS as an MD. He is no stranger to the company, having previously played Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar and more recently Billy in Carousel.


Stuart lives in Westcliff-on-Sea and has musical directed and conducted a variety of productions for Leigh Operatic and Dramatic Society (LODS) and Benfleet Operatic Society (BOS): Annie Get Your Gun (LODS); Fiddler on the Roof (LODS); The Sorcerer (BOS); The Boyfriend (LODS); Witches of Eastwick (LODS); Calamity Jane (BOS); Jekyll and Hyde (LODS); Hot Mikado (LODS – May 09); Oklahoma! (BOS – Oct 09).


As well as the musical side, Stuart has performed in various productions, including: Billy in Carousel (CAODS and LODS); Curly in Oklahoma! (Brentwood Operatic & LODS); Don in Summer Holiday (LODS); Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls (LODS); Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar (CAODS); Emcee in Cabaret (SODS); Giuseppe Palmieri in The Gondoliers (RUG Opera); Fred and Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol (Palace Theatre Guild); Lun Tah in The King and I (Morgan-King) and Peter in Company (RAW)."

     
  John Trent Wallace - Musical Director

John is a published composer of musical theatre with All 4 One (Josef Weinberger), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Samuel French), The Great Sleigh Robbery and James and the Giant Peach being performed around the world. He is the resident Musical Director for Brentwood Theatre and The South Woodham Ferrers Male Voice Choir. His choral arrangements of musical theatre and pop/rock classics, have been
re-invigorating the repertoires of many other male voice choirs across the UK.

In addition to his work as a composer, arranger and musical director, he is a successful sound engineer for many shows, cabarets and concerts. His work includes CD recordings of The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, sound engineer for Brentwood Council's Alchemy Dance Project (which featured a finale of 350 singers and an ensemble from the RPO performing his arrangement of Angels) and sound designer/engineer for We Will Rock You, for which he won the prize for Best Sound at the 2007 Waterford Festival of Light Opera in Ireland.
