And So To Bed

A 1926 musical play by J R Fagan following the life of Samuel Pepys, whose diary entries often ended with “and so to bed”. When Pepys recuses a beautiful singer Mrs Knight from a violent thief he falls in love even though he is already married. Little does he now that Mrs Knight’s previous lover was King Charles II.
