This comedy plan from 1933 was later made into a film starting Dean Martin and Lewis Lewis. Whilst signing up for the Navy Al and Melvin become friends. They both have strange reasons for joining the Navy (Al has been rejected 11 times but keeps trying so he can impress the ladies and Melvin has been prescribed ocean travel to avoid allergies). Now that the requirements have been lowered they both find themselves enlisted which could end in disaster!
