The Pirates of Penzance

caods revists this classic operetta by Gilbert and Sullivan with pirates and police galore. On the coast of Cornwall the Pirate King is reminded by Frederic that it is almost time for him to leave his appprenticeship as his twenty-first birthday is almost here. When he hears a beautiful group of girls he realises that he must marry one of them and the youngest, Mabel, agrees. When the pirates attempt to steal the daughters of Major-General Stanley he is able to lie about being an orphan so they are returned. Frederic also has a cunning plan to lead a squad of policemen against his old gang and chaos ensues!
