Millie Dillmount is new to New York and the fashion and lifestyle of the Roaring Twenties. After bumping into Jimmy, who says she should head back to Kansas as city life if not for her, Millie is determined to become a success. Keen to find a rich husband she quickly finds a job as a secretary for the handsome Trevor Graydon and a room at the Hotel Priscilla for Single Women. The mysterious proprietor is actually a part of the white slavery ring and has her eyes set on Miss Dorothy, Millie’s new friend, who wants to experience what life is like for the “poorer half”. With Trevor Graydon ignoring her advances and her feelings for Jimmy growing will Millie truly become Thoroughly Modern and discover true love as well. Based on the 1967 film starring Julie Andrews this is rip roaring fun with tap and charleston at every turn!
