Ichabod is a wealthy hypocrite who disowns his son, Harry, when he is found in a tryst with Fifi, the daughter of a confectioner, on his stag night. Harry and Fifi wander into Chinatown where he spies young Violet Gray, a salvation army girl, who finds it difficult to follow her vocation as men just see her beauty. When Ichabod realises she is the daughter of an old friend he leaves his huge fortune to her. Determined to not inherit the money Violet begins to act as wild as possible!
