This 1904 musical play follows the tale of seventeen year old Nanoya who has been betrothed to Boobhamba as one of his many wives to her dismay. When she runs away to a tea plantation she falls in love with Harry Vereker and he wishes to marry her but the evil Boobhamba sets out to stop them.
