caods are thrilled to bring the award-winning Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice classic ‘Evita’ to the Civic Theatre. This his musical charts the story of Eva Peron, wife of Argentine dictator Juan Person, from her humble beginnings through to the extraordinary wealth, power and status which ultimately led her to be heralded as the “spiritual leader of the nation” by the Argentine people.
Featuring some of the best loved songs in musical theatre, including “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina”, “Oh What A Circus”, “Your Must Love Me” and “Another Suitcase in Another Hall”, this smash hit show will have the audiences astounded!
‘Evita’ will be directed by Sallie Warrington with new MD James Harragan in his first production with caods. Sallie most recently directed ‘Top Hat’ and ‘All Shook Up’ for caods.
